Although we understand why you might perceive shortage and competition in your world, we want you to know that the universe expands through every individual desire. No two people want precisely the same thing because no two people have created precisely the same thing through those desires.
You have so much creativity literally pouring through you. Whatever you have desired you have begun the process of creating. If it hasn't shown up yet, the best thing you can do is find something you do appreciate that has already manifested and enjoy focusing upon that while further desires expand into your experience through the Process of Becoming.
Focusing on the absence of your desire slows its arrival. You never need to attempt to give up your desires. We encourage you to use your creative focus to find joy now. This improves your present and aligns you with the state of effortless receiving.
