The "higher power" that so many humans have been encouraged to connect with is the true, authentic, eternal energy that all humans are a physical extension of. We would rather encourage you to ease your thoughts into coherence with your Source Self, the eternal, non-resistant You, than to imply that you could ever truly be disconnected from Source. You are Source in physical form. Only your thoughts can oppose or misinterpret that connection.
When you hold a belief that you are inappropriate in any way, you activate opposition to your inherent inner-knowing. You are literally designed to feel some degree of discomfort when your thoughts misalign with your authentic Self, but that misalignment is not a reflection of your value. There is nothing inappropriate about thinking thoughts that result in negative emotion. There is, in truth, tremendous personal benefit in experiencing the misalignment of thought because, in that experience, you create the opportunity to bring your thoughts into alignment. You are here to experience the variety of contrast. You are here to exercise your freedom and ability to choose. The greater the contrast, the greater the choice. Negative feelings are constructive opportunities, not failures.
It is not your responsibility to perform in a way that you believe will create internal harmony for others. When you experience the pure love that is your true nature, you naturally offer benefit to those with whom you interact who are a match to receiving benefit. Well-being is not asserted, it is allowed, and each of you is continuously connected to a stream of power that flows freely in every moment. Coherence with Source is true authenticity, and that coherence is always and only experienced by consciousness within itself. You are, first and foremost, responsible for your own thoughts — all else in your experience is an extension of your thinking.
